This church, rebuilt in 1675 in the Vauban style, is a preserved heritage
The Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, more commonly known as Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption, was built in the 11th or 12th century, rebuilt in 1675 in the Vauban style (arched arch) and restored in 1970: exposed framework, galleries with turned wooden balusters, recent stained-glass windows by Charles Carrère, Anglet's master glassworker and, last but not least, a ship hanging in the nave, donated in the 18th century by the Saint-Nicolas mutualist society. A preserved heritage.
