This restaurant is a veritable institution, offering strollers and gourmets alike an iodized break in the heart of the Port du Plomb. The local specialty? Mussels! They are cooked in a multitude of ways. Alongside the famous marinière recipe, you'll be tempted by the cream and curry sauce, or those sautéed in garlic. And if you really love this shellfish, opt for the "Café de la mer", 1kg of mussels! Other dishes on offer include salads, seafood, entrecote steak, as well as crêpes and ice creams to enjoy on the terrace, facing the sea.

Courrez au café de la mer, si vous ne connaissez pas ce petit bijou ! Tout est parfait , de l’accueil au service , en passant par la vue bien sûr ! Les plats sont copieux et délicieux et les prix plus que raisonnables , en pleine saison estivale, alors que d’autres n’hésitent pas à assommer les touristes …

Superbe découvert que ce restaurant avec vue imprenable sur le pont de l'ile de Ré. Bonne ambiance et nourriture au top (les moules à l'ail sont une réussite gustative à ne pas manquer !)

Mangiato molto bene. Servizio ottimo, veloce nonostante fosse pieno, cortese e disponibile la cameriera che ci ha servito. Simpatico e gioviale il proprietario.
Prezzi proporzionati.
La vista è su tutta la baia e sul ponte che porta all'Ile du Re. Tramonto spettacolare.
