LES CHAISES QUI S’AMUSENT
Hélène de Saint Do is not the success of his creations, furniture facelift in an artistic and original way. A useful recycling and hunting a daily quotidien… After training in Fine arts in Bordeaux, she became educator and accompanied people with disabilities in their daily tasks. One day, one of them brings him a chair that he would like to paint. Neither one, nor two, begins an informal workshop of painting and déco. Then in 2002, she made an expo at Meanwhile, at the Théâtre d'Angoulême and during Art and Disability in Saint-Savinien, a German bought her a chair. In 2006, the professional workshop was created and orders and sales started. Today, three full-time people work with Hélène. You can come with your old chair, your décati chair, your commode ternie, they charge the relookage of your furniture (a chair: € 40, convenient between € 60 and € 80). You can also crack for one of their creations. Consecration for Hélène and his team: a familiar customer gave them a table without any deposit and chose to adapt the colors of his room according to their creation. By the way, if you want to make a sensation, with a gift not like the others at the foot of the tree tree, the creations of the «chairs who fun» are present at the Christmas market in La Rochelle.
