ST. VIVIAN'S CHURCH
Romanesque church with a unique façade, classified as a historical monument in Pons
While the medieval town is famous for its keep, the most imposing in the region, it also boasts a rich religious heritage. In addition to the Pilgrims' Hospital - a former medieval hospice located in the lower town - travelers can also admire this pretty Romanesque church with its unique façade, listed as a Monument Historique. Located not far from the traffic circle representing the pilgrims on their way to Santiago de Compostela and along the Seugne river, it was built in the 12th century to welcome the faithful on their way to Santiago de Compostela.
