ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM
Archaeological museum, presenting about fifteen showcases of numerous objects tracing the history of the city and the region
Formerly housed in a private chapel, the Louis Lassarade Archaeological Museum has been located in the Hôpital des Pèlerins since spring 2020. Easily accessible and with a parking lot, the place is particularly pleasant, both spacious and bright. The museum presents in about fifteen showcases numerous objects retracing the history of the city and the region: from the Paleolithic to the French Revolution, passing through the Neolithic and the Gallo-Roman period: Roman amphorae, pottery, wrought iron axe... An interesting visit.
