Created in 1983, this rugby club is the second largest in Charente-Maritime behind the Stade Rochelais. Supported by the town hall, an essential partner of the club, the RCP has won the title of "Champion Poitou-Charentes" on several occasions and plays in federal 3. Based in La Tourtillière, RCP enjoys a very pleasant environment and its rugby school welcomes children from the age of 5 to train them up to the elite. Like the older children, they play against teams at departmental level. Every year, the club organizes a garage sale open to all.
