un lieu historique, fort, émouvant, pratiquement inchangé depuis le XXI e siècle. Des centaines de livres, de cartes, de planches anatomiques, d'instruments de chirurgie parfois barbares , de cranes annotés comme ceux des condamnés à mort décapités ou d'abrutis notoires .... Unique en Europe, un peu dur pour des enfants

Visite guidée captivante aux origines de la chirurgie moderne et dans une époque de (sombre) gloire de la Marine française et de Rochefort. Notez bien que, oui, c'est bien à Rochefort, et pas à Montpellier comme on l'entend là-bas, que la chirurgie est devenue une discipline médicale à part entière en France !
