It is in an old Romanesque church from the 12th century that the museum was established. It houses the archaeological collections of the City's Geographical Society, a learned society created in 1878 that carries out historical research and archaeological excavations. The museum's collections range from the Neolithic to the 18th century, and concern excavations in the surrounding area. The most beautiful is undoubtedly the Romanesque sculpture of the Old Man of the Apocalypse.

Remarkable site, great rich collections pedagogically. Temporary exhibition on Bellot to be seen. The visit is worth.
