Regional and oriental cuisine to be enjoyed in a restaurant with a terrace overlooking the Cordouan lighthouse in Royan.

This restaurant has a very nice situation. From the beautiful days you can take a seat on the terrace, to enjoy a direct view of the harbor but also on the lighthouse of Cordoan. When time doesn't allow it, you get into a refined room with a great brightness. The location of the hotel is very pleasant and friendly. The dishes promise a culinary journey, with regional cuisine revisited but also some oriental dishes. The traditional charentaise fish soup brings a lamb tajine to dry fruit! To note, the daily dish is displayed at a rate that is readily accessible and the restaurant is open on Mondays.

Belle découverte
Arrivée par hasard en visitant le port de pêche. Accueil chaleureux avec un personnel souriant et à l'écoute. Jolie vue sur le port de pêche ou le grand large dominé par le phare de Cordouan. Bon rapport qualité-prix et carte très variée avec une pointe de gastronomie marocaine. Ravie de la découverte, adresse à retenir où il est préférable de réserver.

Très bonne cuisine. Menu très accessible avec cependant peu de choix. Le poisson était délicieux, parfaitement cuit. Petit bémol sur la Pavlova assez petite !

nous somme client depuis plusieurs années et la très déçus du plateaux de fruits de mer a 90e pas frais du tout langoustines très salée huitres pas bonne et grosse crevette congelé ressortie plusieurs fois la tète était noir et chair très dur pas de choix pour les desserts
serveuse juste arrive et très agréable et pas de pain servis et de l'eau la ces le patron qui est responsable.

Gros problème de sous effectif en salle lié semble-t-il à des problèmes conjoncturels, qui a un peu gâché notre plaisir. Nous avons en effet quasiment toujours été en attente d'eau / de pain, ce qui est bien dommage car la cuisine (saumon gravelax, souris d'agneau) est plutôt sympa et le cadre pas désagréable. Une attention sympa du patron toutefois in fine qui nous a offert une coupe de champagne pour fêter nos 40 ans de mariage.
