The halls installed next to the tourist office and the church, built in 1864 in place of the old cemetery
Built in 1864 by Louis Vignal, a carpenter from the island of Oléron, the halles are located next to the Tourist Office and the church, on the site of the former cemetery. Covered by a bronze roof, they are an ideal place for a stroll. After admiring the church, it's a good opportunity to spend a moment in front of this building, which hosts producers showcasing local produce during the two months of summer. It's certainly not the biggest market on the island, but the atmosphere is convivial.
