Seafood cuisine based on fresh products in a restaurant with terrace located a few steps from the port of Ile de Ré.

Nestled in an alleyway just a stone's throw from the port, this restaurant offers a quiet setting for a seafood lunch. Gilles Barre showcases his oceanic cuisine, using fresh, finely-cooked produce. Prices are a little steep, but the fish comes directly from the fishing port. Take a seat on the terrace, sheltered from the wind, to discover starters such as the famous Thai-style red tuna tataki. The rest depends on your tastes. In season, mussels are offered in a variety of recipes: marinière, chorizo, lemon basil, while sea bass is roasted with preserved lemon or citrus fruit. Homemade desserts are delicious, such as roasted flat peaches with dairy caramel. Tip: exhibitions by local artists and concerts are held regularly.

Y has evenings and nights without. In short, it was to be one evening without! The restaurant did not post full and yet the service was deplorable. Off-season, that should be more serene. And not, do not go there because you will be bad evening. Not good any filling at the same time as its dish, it is possible and I - fashioned. But the dish on the table and to get good any filling after 20 minutes, it is afflicting. We have been eating a cold bream and apples sarladaises (include potato spent in oil with mushrooms without garlic and parsley!). And do not ask excuse or a commercial activity, as the owner fout and will tell you that it is just a potato history. Finally, a €103 for 2 without dessert, that the expensive potato!
Small restaurant with a street. With a warm atmosphere with its fire contrasting with the designer furniture. It was delicious with pan-fried cuttlefish, grilled of the seas (fresh fish) and desserts chocolate house.
The only downside rates especially €5.80 water bottle and 3rd coffee.
