COMMUNAUTÉ DE COMMUNES DE L'ÎLE DE RÉ

Since its creation in 1993, the Community of the Island of Ré has gradually acquired new skills. This institution, comprising the 10 municipalities on the island, has as its compulsory competence: spatial planning, economic development, the management of travelers' reception areas and waste management. Twice a year, it publishes a free information journal that allows for a vision of rebellious activities: discovery of local products, transport, sorting of waste and more detailed dossiers, particularly on the link between land and sea.
