The Plage de la Cible, the only beach in Saint-Martin-de-Ré, stretches for almost 200 m. In summer, you'll find white bathing cabins, a restaurant and a sailing school. The beach is about 700 m from the old port. Supervised beach in season, with free parking, diving board and sanitary facilities. There's also a sailing school, playground and picnic area, as well as surfing, sailing, fishing, kitesurfing and kite flying. The beach has been awarded "bathing water quality" certification.
