Restaurant in a pleasant setting with an excellent welcome in Saint-Palais-sur-Mer.

This traditional restaurant is set in the pine forest of Les Combots, close to La Grande Côte beach. The pleasant setting makes it a pleasure to sit out on the terrace and enjoy refined, generous cuisine. Delphine and Mickaël will warmly welcome you to discover one of the two menus on offer. The dishes are beautifully executed using fresh, quality produce. The current menu, served at lunchtime (including Saturdays), offers excellent value for money. An address to recommend for those who want to treat themselves!

En lisière de la forêt de pins, voilà une adresse étonnante, car à première vue son nom peut être trompeur : le Flandre n'est pas un resto moules-frites délocalisé. On s'en rend compte en allant y lire la carte, plutôt bien écrite. En fait, le Flandre est un bateau échoué dans l'océan tout proche, de l'autre côté de la forêt. Accueil plutôt détendu et service sans chichis, mais dans les assiettes on sent qu'il y a un vrai cuisto derrière : la nage de la mer notamment, est une magnifique réussite. Poissons parfaitement cuits, saveurs complexes et fines de la nage, un vrai régal et du beau travail. Il y a également une petite touche originale de présentation pour chaque plat. Vraiment, une bonne surprise !
