This artisanal fishing port, the first in the department, is renowned for its colourful boats that catch noble species (soles, line bars, langoustines...) using techniques that respect the quality of the fish. A major tourist destination, La Cotinière is not only a port, it is also a place where it is good to stroll. You will feel the iodized air at the table on the terrace of a café or strolling through the alleys or at the night market. Of course, fresh fish can be found here at Victorine's market every day from 3:30 pm. Work has begun on a new 4 hectare basin, the raising of the dike and the demolition of the old tidal market.

Pretty lively port: many restaurant, shops (clothes, ornaments, equipment for fishing, biscuit factories…), sale of fish and oysters…
Special mention for the Fish 'Chips " Le Hake are served " , sitting on bench facing the port crunchy a good fresh breaded hake fillet with some Chips that make the covetousness of gulls and tournepierres (small birds).
Within walking distance there is a beautiful beach with a rocky foreshore. The chapel overlooking the port is also worth a look, especially for these very modern stained-glass windows…
