This restaurant has above all a magnificent view of the ocean. It's a great pleasure to sit on the terrace and dominate the waves! The cuisine highlights products coming straight from the sea like the fish that is always very fresh caught by small boats, shellfishes and crustaceans, but also meats and Charentes specialties. You can also enjoy the few spicy touches. As a starter, there are accras or raw fish carpaccio and saline hot goat cheese. The next offers a true moment of happiness: monkfish leg with vanilla sauce, roasted half sea bass and its fennel brushwood or pan-fried calf sweetbread. But L’Albatros also offers another menu: the New York Corner. On the menu, a chic burger of duck with foie gras or a fish & chips. A trip on the other side of the Atlantic! Que ce soit en terrasse ou à l'intérieur la vue est top! L'hôtel et le restaurant on étés rénovés régulièrement ces dernières années et le lieu est vraiment très beau.
Côté service, rien à redire même si un des 4 serveurs que nous avons eu était un peu trop froid, fermé, pas très souriant. Tous les autres, plus jeunes étaient top.
Service rapide, menu efficace, clair et simple et très bon!
Si possible, à faire le soir, au coucher de soleil en terrasse, superbe experience
