Information at the town hall (or Mr. Jaulard (tel.) 05 46 06 42 06). This famous pastor succeeds in obtaining from Louis XVI rights for his community in the "crossing of the desert", while Protestant worship was illegal. In 1852, Eugene Pelletan, journalist, republican politician and (incidentally) grandson of Jean Jarousseau, published Le Pasteur du Désert, a work inspired by his grandfather's real life.
