It is one of Europe's oldest suspended bridges. It dates back to 1842 and was built according to the plans of Louis Dor, then chief engineer of the department. It measures 23 m wide and 623 m long, 90 meters for the longest span. It is no longer open to the movement of cars. From the bridge, the panorama on the marshes is exceptional.
