Priory welcoming the pilgrims of the way of Compostelle, in the heart of the valley of Arnoult, guided visit and with proposed topic.

Founded in the late ^11th century, this priory was completely restored in the 1990s. Situated in the heart of the Arnoult valley, visitors are surprised to find themselves in front of a monumental complex! For centuries, the monks lived here peacefully, welcoming pilgrims on their way to Santiago de Compostela. The whole family will enjoy the visit: children aged 3 and over can take part in a treasure hunt, while parents can admire the exhibits and take home a souvenir from the store.

Opening time and information on TRIZAY ABBEY

Closed from December 20 to February 5. From February 6 to April 2: Monday to Friday from 10am to 1pm and from 2pm to 6pm. Saturday and Sunday: 2pm-6pm, from May 1st to September 24th: 10am-1pm 2pm-7pm. Summer period: - from July 1st to September 3rd: every day from 10am to 7pm except Saturday until 4pm. Last entry: 45 min before closing time. Free until 6 years old (game booklet provided). Adult : 6 € (free visit). Children (from 6 to 12 years old) : 3 €. Group (15 persons) : 5 € (guided tour + 3 €). Guided tour.

Les vestiges de cette abbaye sont grandioses ,on y visite quelques salles et les commentaires de la guide sont intéressants A noter que sont exposés à la saison des sculptures à l'extérieur et des peintures dans les salles.
