A bucolic stroll through the Jardins de Compostelle overlooking the lake
While in Trizay, visit the Romanesque abbey and its medieval-inspired garden. And if you want to continue your adventure, you'll have plenty of time to visit the Jardins de Compostelle, designed in 1998 by Rochefort landscape architect Jean-François Galine. Although the park is now free of charge, it has lost some of its lustre. The 2-hectare site is ideal for strolling, but you can still admire a few rosebushes and enjoy a bucolic stroll.
