BEGAUD COGNAC
Since 1895, four generations of winegrowers have occupied the lands of La Barre, 16 hectares of hillsides in a single block of Fins Bois, stretching out at the foot of the estate on a supple clay-limestone soil, with particular essences, planted with 80% of the ugni blanc which is used for the distillation of the estate's eaux-de-vie. Enjoy the softness of a Pineau des Charentes, the character of a Cognac, the freshness of a natural grape juice and discover the best aromas of our soils by the salty and/or sweet regional specialities, coming from the local peasant agriculture. The musts for pineaux come from the grape varieties colombard, montils, semillon, ugni blanc for the white, then merlot, and cabernet sauvignon for the red. Come and share their passion for the vine and distillation, their know-how passed on for several generations, which allows you to better understand the place of vine growing as a cultural revelation of a territory. Take part in a visit in the company of the bouilleur de cru, who will lead you to an original olfactory experience, followed by food pairings with cognac and pineau. Discover without further delay, a Pineau des Charentes, Cognac liqueurs and Cognacs from 5 to 40 years old such as Grandpa Gabriel, the Black Prince or the Mes 20 ans.
