Museum exposing a beautiful collection of motorcycles, manufactured between 1900 and the 60's, to discover in Celles-sur-Belle.
In the abbey grounds. A small part of the exceptional collection of motorcycles assembled by Pierre Certain, a mechanic by trade and a Celles-sur-Belle enthusiast. The man, a rally enthusiast, has restored dozens of specimens while creating his own racing models and spare parts. He donated his fabulous treasure trove to the Mairie de Celles-sur-Belles, 205 European and American machines, manufactured between 1900 and the 1960s.

Opening time and information on MUSÉE DES MOTOS ANCIENNES
Open from mid-April to mid-November. From mid-April to mid-June and from mid-September to mid-November: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 10:30am to 12:30pm and 2:30pm to 5:30pm. Mid-June to mid-September: daily, 10:30am to 12:30pm and 2:30pm to 6:30pm. Short vacations: Monday to Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Free for children under 18. Adults: €4. Pack 10 € (visit to convent buildings, church and motorcycle museum).

The Musée des Motos Anciennes is located in the courtyard of the Abbaye Royale in Celles-sur-Belle. It houses an exceptional collection of motorcycles assembled by Pierre Certain, a passionate rally enthusiast .He bequeathed his collection of some 200 vintage motorcycles to the commune ,45 of which are on display in the museum. Here, you'll discover various racing and cross-country models, some of which were personally created by the Niort-based collector. You're sure to be impressed by motorcycles dating from 1903 to 1960, from French, English and Germanmanufacturers , andmore. An address of choice for motorcycle enthusiasts!
