The work is completed in 1568, honored by the visit of Catherine de Medici, Charles IX and the future Henry III and Queen Margot (1569). In 1849, part of the decorations was sold to the aquafortist Octave de Rochebrune. Self-guided or (audio) guided tours of the chapel, the cellars and the jewel of the castle: its vast kitchen, with its diamond-shaped vault. The building houses the town hall and the tourist office.
