MOULIN L'ABBÉ
A restored watermill housing 2 permanent collections and organizing 2 temporary exhibitions each year.
This fully restored, working water mill, listed as a Monument Historique, has preserved its extraordinary mechanism. At the beginning of the 18th century, there were seventeen wheat mills on the Sèvre. Their flour was used to make fouace, the famous pastry from Moth. Today, only one has survived: Le Moulin l'Abbé. In addition to the flour mill, you'll visit a room devoted to the Rosières, a living tradition perpetuated since 1816, a geological collection and a collection of radio sets.
