A remarkable bridge of 260 m long, built at the end of the 19th century by Radoult de Lafosse, to be discovered in Bellerive-sur-Allier.
More than a simple bridge! The people of Vichy and Bellerivois cross it, meet there, stop there to discuss... The 260 meter long bridge, which was formerly called "Pont de Vichy" is an integral part of the life of the local people. It was built at the end of the 19th century by the engineer Radoult de Lafosse, and opened to traffic on May 20, 1870. It was then widened and solidified in 1937. The previous bridge was destroyed by a major 100-year flood on September 27, 1866.
