In the heart of the Marais Poitevin, Le Carré d'Eau is set in a pretty setting, on the water's edge, and has a pleasant flowered terrace and an ornamental swimming pool. Several menus are available, the "Restassis" (with, among others, its warm goat's cheese and duck confit), the "Balade" (with its all-you-can-eat seafood buffet) and the "Flânerie" (for big eaters: fricassee of frogs' legs or eels' legs and then, confit, fish or bavette). The à la carte dishes are just as hearty and tempting (duck breast, pike-perch...) and the desserts are delicious. Good address.

Tout manque d'épices.
On ne fait pas cuire des fruits de mer dans de l'eau uniquement.
Il faut un bouillon un peu relevé avec bouquet garni et ça change complètement le goût des crustacés !
