ROMANESQUE CHURCH OF SAINT JOHN THE BAPTIST
Church with a square chevet, classified as a historical monument since 1862 in Marnes
Classified as a historical monument since 1862, its parts date back to the beginning of the 12th century, but it is known that the church is built on even older foundations. Rectangular in shape, it has a well-developed transept and a nave with three bays in broken cradle. The square shape of its chevet and the bays of its southern transept evoke Limousin influences. The church contains various sculptures dating from different periods.
