We returned February 2023.
Unable to book in for valentine's as the set menu had no vegetarian option. We tried the following evening as your menu now includes a whole 'vegan' section.
The food tasted and looked good...a definite improvement on the last visit.
HOWEVER.. if I am going out for a meal I expect a full balanced meal. The MAIN course was a small bowl of finely sliced celeriac, beetroot squash and beetroot served with a thyme infused olive oil.
That's all
It was a side dish.
It tasted good but absolutely NOT a meal.
There are so many protein sources and balanced meals that are simple to create for vegetarians and vegans.
Stop pretending to cater adequately if your chef us not up to the role.
Until you, and other restaurants understand how to cook a tasty balanced meal you will continue to get poor reviews.
