In the south-east of Thouars, a belvedere offers a panorama on the valley of Thouet and a view plunging on the vast and impressive cirque of Missé. In the middle of the trees winds a meander of the Thouet. Go down to the heart of the trail, to the Missé mill and listen to the legend: surprised by the storm while hunting, a lord of Thouars took refuge in a mill. The miller's welcome was so warm that the gallant lord came back often to visit her and decided to transform the mill into this surprising fortress!
