NIORT ULTIMATE CLUB (NUC)
Who hasn't tried their hand at Frisbee throwing, simply dressed in their latest swimsuit and in the company of friends? Swinging a cup and passing it from hand to hand seems easy at first glance. But then again, it's easier to imagine and watch, wondering how you can miss a silly throw than actually do it properly. From this beach activity or complicity between canines and humans, a sport was born: ultimate. A game that originated in American universities, it was imported to France and brought to Niort. The principle is simple: two teams, each trying to get the Frisbee behind the advantage line, in the style of American soccer. It's simple, fun, tactical and rather enjoyable, but technical all the same. Pierre Mora, the club's president-trainer and a member of the French national team, will be delighted to show you around.
