Newcomers to Niort will appreciate their reservation to the municipality. A booklet will be issued on a simple presentation in town hall. They will find a map of the city, with all its streets, as well as all relevant numbers and addresses, including schools, administrations, services, bus routes, etc. Several times a Year, the town hall also organizes a small reception to bring the newcomers together. The reading of "Living in Niort", the city magazine distributed free of charge, is another way to get acquainted with the city.
