A must in Parthenay. What makes it so successful? Quality Auvergne cuisine, a simple, family-style setting and a warm welcome. No fuss on the plate. Traditional cuisine for gourmets. Auvergne sausage, tripous, onglet de boeuf with shallot sauce and confit de canard are accompanied by the house's famous truffade, potatoes browned in duck fat, mixed with garlic and fresh Cantal tomme. Fish and salads complete the menu. With a Saint-Pourçain and a homemade dessert, you'll feel right at home.

I went by chance, Parthenay was deserted today! And I do not regret. Warm welcome, a quick service, reasonable prices, and side dishes that change the sempiternal fried ones frozen (truffade are excellent, I have seen the aligot, he made desire!). And the excellent homemade desserts. I recommend!
