Restaurant nestled a few meters from the famous Clock Tower offering a wide choice of cheese platters.

Nestling a few metres from the famous Clock Tower and offering a magnificent view of the Thouet, this is Thierry Guilbault's restaurant, which never tires of cooking for a clientele of regulars. Installed here for ages, he knows how to renew himself regularly so as not to tire our taste buds. His discovery menu is a great introduction to the world of food. On the programme: a wide choice of cheese platters, wines... There are also specific menus for the holidays (Mother's Day, Valentine's Day, Easter...). Non-exhaustive and very personal choice, it's up to you to make your own!

Malgré un premier contact un peu bourru par téléphone (parents d'une petite de 3 ans, le propriétaire du restaurant nous a bien précisé qu'il fallait qu'elle soit calme pour ne pas déranger les autres invités, ce qui se comprend), l'expérience au Fin Gourmet a été au-dessus de nos espérances. L'endroit est bien situé dans Parthenay et l'ambiance y est très cosy. Dans les assiettes, du bon à très bon (au niveau d'un bon étoilé Michelin). Une entrée un poil en-dessous mais les plats de poissons (lotte et risotto et langoustines et artichauts) étaient excellents, de même que les desserts originaux et très équilibrés (feuillantine chocolat/mascarpone coquelicot/framboise et assiette d'assortiments avec glace à la pêche de vigne notamment). Le plateau de fromages est quant à lui impressionnant et très bien choisi. En définitive une adresse qui vaut le détour !

Nous n'étions pas venus depuis le COVID, et encore une fois, un super moment très agréable, une cuisine extrêmement bonne, mais vraiment excellente. Nous avons pris un menu gourmand, la gourmandise était au rdv. Je vais y revenir très vite

Enfin un retour dans ce restaurant, après plusieurs mois de fermeture.
Un sublime repas fondant en bouche, avec des goûts variés et travaillés.
