The municipal library is located in the city center, near the shops and the town hall. It offers the inhabitants of Parthenay a complete service of reading education and leisure. Spread over 3 levels, the structure welcomes adults on the first floor, young people on the second floor, and music and cinema enthusiasts on the top floor, accessible by elevator. Groups are welcomed by appointment on Tuesday and Friday mornings and activities are organized throughout the year to explore the wide world of reading (workshops, meetings, stories).
