SAINT CYR - SAINTE JULITTE CHURCH
This charming church is located 800 meters from the town of Billy. It has the particularity of having been founded in place of a Roman temple of the 3rd century. The church is dated from the VIth century and has been reworked over the years. It contains a Romanesque crypt from the 11th century, nicknamed "Cave Saint-Georges" because the winegrowers used to store their wines there, as well as several objects listed in the inventory of historical monuments. The church belongs to the European network of Casadean sites, in connection with the abbey of La Chaise-Dieu.
