PARC DU COQ À L'ÂNE
Park including an animal park with a donkey, a soap factory, a restaurant, unusual accommodation and activities
Animal park, soap factory, restaurant, unusual accommodations - in this park, you can really go from rooster to donkey, but always with a common thread: spending a relaxing day in the heart of nature with the whole family. In this 7-hectare park in the heart of the wet marsh, the star of the show is the donkey. There are 30 of them among the 140 animals on site. Llamas, chickens, Highland cows, sheep, mangalitzas, alpacas - little ones will be amazed. The tour lasts 2 hours, and is accompanied by an adventurer's notebook punctuated with riddles for the little ones, and a biodiversity notebook for the older ones. You'll take part in some of the highlights of the tour: feeding and harvesting the donkey milk used to make cosmetics at the Cornet Soapery. Here, you'll discover the history of soap through the ages. The sweets you're about to treat yourself to will bear the names of their contributors.
Du coq à l'Ane also organizes a plethora of leisure activities. You can take part in anarchery challenge, try your hand at cage ball, explore the Georgette hiking trail (2h with free roadbook), take a rosalie ride through the Venise verte, or try your hand at an outdoor escape game.
This little off-grid paradise invites you to spend the night under a starry dome or in a trapper's canvas with a 180° view of the park and its residents.
You can dine at the Anarosé restaurant, which specializes in homemade eel and, if you're lucky, donkey milk ice cream.
