COMMANDERIE DES ANTONINS AND COLLEGIAL
The Commanderie des Antonins and the collegiate church of Saint-Marc-La-Lande, a jewel of the Gâtinais heritage.
Watch out! Restored in the 1980s, the imposing Commanderie des Antonins (1654) served as a stopover for Compostelle pilgrims. The collegiate church, built in the 16th century, is the department's most important building in the flamboyant Gothic style. Linger over its façade and south side. The two recently-created gardens are well worth a visit: one is dedicated to medicinal plants, the other is a "conservatory orchard" illustrating the great local arboricultural tradition.
