Founded in 1937 by the academic of Augustin Bernard, the Musée de Bourbon-L occupies the ground floor of the ancient casino. This museum is a real place to contain two millennia of bourbonnaise life, according to a precise path that makes the difference at different times. Of course, we start in the time of the Gallic, the Celts and the Romans who captured the springs and made Aquæ Bormonis one of the main Gallo-Roman spas, as evidenced by the map of Peutinger. Then comes the rise in power of the Bourbons, the castle strong, and then ruin it with the Revolution.
