DOVECOTE
A pigeon house of original architecture which was part of the buildings of the royal post office of Sauzé.
Property of the Coulleau family of Vigneau in 1463, this pigeon was part of the buildings of the royal post of Sauzé. Original architecture, the pigeon of the royal position consists of a square base, the breakthrough of four plein vaults. The voûte is finely carved into the arms of the Coulleau family of Vigneau. The floor containing 260 boulins is octagonal, pierced by a framed access door of four unbreakable wizards for being martelés during the Revolution. The passage of the pigeons was carried out by the two seated dogs originally opened in the N.-O and N.-O. It was transported in 1999 on the DÉVIATION DÉVIATION 948. A part of his vault was deliberately gaping to see the terracotta boulins and the structure in chestnut. The present location of the pigeon area can be intended to become a resting area, the municipality having acquired and cleaned a small planted wood.
