A museum dedicated to peasant life.
In this museum, a former 15th-century priory run by a team of enthusiastic volunteers, seven rooms are dedicated to the daily life of 19th-century peasants in the Poitou region (peasant interior, washing barn, basket-making area, bakehouse, stable...). The first floor is devoted to traditional costumes and the various headdresses of the Poitou region. Extend your visit with a stroll around the Priory (500 m of temple, Protestant cemeteries, washhouses and fountains).
