SAINT-MARTIN-LES-BAILLARGEAUX CHURCH
The church of Noizé isolated in the plain, in the middle of the fields, forbidden of access because of dilapidation in Plaine-et-Vallées
Isolated in the plain, in the middle of the fields, the church of Noizé could well be older than the 10th century. Its curious situation is explained by a fire set after a plague epidemic. The village, entirely destroyed, would have been rebuilt on its current location. Forbidden to enter because of its dilapidation for about fifteen years, the small church was saved from ruin by the inhabitants of the surroundings. Every year in November the pilgrimage to Saint Martin takes place.
