Nestled in a corner of the bottom of the city, not far from Thouet and its beautiful shores, camping Thouars has a rustic appearance. It is within walking distance from the city center, overlooking the beautiful gardens at the bottom of the city and swimming pool. It is frequented mostly by people passing through for a few nights but mainly by seasonal workers for the picking of melons, the main activity of the region in the summer. In July and August, it is populated by young people for whom the schedule is only a vague notion and calmness something even abstract.
