LA FOIRE SAINT-MICHEL

After a few years of exile on the Orangery side of the castle, the Saint-Michel fair, the great culturo-commercial-entertainment event of Thouars, has made a comeback in the city centre on the Lavault and Flandres-Dunkerque squares. Every year, nearly 10,000 people flock to this regional event with a theme, which varies each year, of a country as guest of honour. The events are chosen according to this country, while the invariable shoppers and their miracle products are on sale, as well as the fairground activities.
