He knuckles the Thouet between Thouars and Sainte Radegonde and reminds us that Thouars at the beginning of the twentieth century was a railroad town that grew through the railway. Thouars was one of the largest western steam machine deposits. This works of art was built between 1871 and 1873 by the famous Eiffel company. Two aprons are based on three iron pillars, the welding of which is masonry; but in 1944, the Germans will blow up the structure that will be rebuilt from 1946. Still active, it measures 44 meters high and 261 meters long.
