In these very beautiful stables of the castle of the Dukes of La Trémoille, the earth's sciences are placed in honour with a presentation of the thouarsais natural heritage: landscapes, relief, agricultural practices, rural habitat, etc. Geology is a science accessible to all thanks to the support of models, video clips or reduced models. This visit can be supplemented by the discovery of the Toarcian Nature Reserve which ensures the conservation of two old quarries: the fact sheets of each site and maps can be downloaded free of charge on the site. Finally, for the students and curious, the centre has an important documentary base on the geology of the region, what to discover the Two-Sèvres of the time of dinosaurs to the present!
