SAN MARTIN CHURCH
This beautiful church sometimes offers exhibitions of works by neighboring artisans
Built at the end of the 11th century, the Saint-Martin church is the parish church of the upper town. It displays a pure Romanesque style: simple nave, square bell tower (original) with bays, capitals decorated with foliage, barrel vault... The right wall is of more recent date, as the door and the ogival windows prove. The bell tower was destroyed in 1657 and had to be consolidated and the spire lowered by 2 meters. The two chapels date from the 13th century and the altar is from the Louis XIII period. This pretty church sometimes proposes exhibitions of works of the neighboring craftsmen.
