Cardinal Jean de la Balue, commonly known as «La Balue», was born in 1421. He was the finance minister of King Louis XI. Accused of treason in favour of Charles the Bold, he was imprisoned for ten years in a "girl", the name given to those iron cages, which he might be the inventor of. The outside alone is accessible.
