Angles-sur-l'Anglin, one of France's most beautiful villages, is home to an exceptional prehistoric site known as the Roc-aux-Sorciers. The site is famous for its 15,000-year-old sculpted frieze, considered to be the "Lascaux of sculpture". To preserve this unique heritage, an Interpretation Center has been created. Thanks to innovative and entertaining reconstructions, visitors can put themselves in the shoes of the Magdalenian ancestors and discover their lives, their environment and their exceptional art, monumental sculpture. The Centre also offers a scenographic video projection that transports visitors 15,000 years back in time to understand the life of the Magdalenians. Guided tours and prehistoric workshops are also available.
