This spot offers one of the finest panoramic views of Angles, and was a place where soldiers could watch for the entrance of enemies.
The expression "hucher dans une corne" meant "to blow a horn" and by extension "to call". The place was a guard post from which the soldiers could watch the entrance of enemies by the lower city and warn the population by blowing the horn. This beautiful expression also applies to the beautiful oven, where the inhabitants used to come to bake their bread: when the oven was hot, the horn sounded, reminding the bellies of the satisfaction of a good loaf. This place offers one of the most beautiful panoramic views of Angles.
