EGLISE NOTRE-DAME
Church built in the eleventh century where in the nave are medieval paintings that are superimposed from generation to generation
The interest of this church built in the 11th century lies in the remarkable paintings that it houses. Three sets are revealed. In the Sainte-Catherine chapel, the scenes date from the end of the 14th century. In the nave of the church, medieval paintings have been superimposed from generation to generation. On the north wall, the 12th century paintings deal with liturgical themes such as the Resurrection, the Ascension, the Descent of Christ into Limbo, Pentecost... other scenes illustrate the fight of Saint George against the dragon. A must see.
